In another blog I have written about the work of the kinetic artist Juvenal Ravelo. That time I referred to him in relation to Ligia Mujica’s book, ”Participative street art”. This is a collection of pictures taken today in the inauguration of two of his new murals at the entrance of the School of Engineering at the Andres Bello Catholic University. The first one is a study in the fragmentation of light, and the second two show his work on the decomposition of color. In the following pictures are some of the people who were at today’s event.

En otro lugar he escrito sobre la obra del artista cinético Juvenal Ravelo, aquella vez en el contexto del libro de Ligia Mujica de Tovar, “Arte de partipación en la calle, Estudio psicosocial de la participación comunitaria". Ahora presento algunas fotos tomadas hoy de la inauguración de dos nuevos trabajos de este artista en una de las entradas a la Escuela de Ingeniería en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. La primera foto tiene como trasfondo un estudio en que se ha fragmentado la luz, y las dos siguientes demuestran la descomposición del color. En las fotos que siguen están algunas de las personas que participaron en el acto.
